FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Practical answers about privacy, quality, file size, batch conversion and browser-based processing.
Are my files uploaded to a server?+
No. Media-file conversion happens inside your browser. Convertere Fabrica does not need to receive the file in order to convert it.
Can I convert several files at once?+
Yes. You can add multiple compatible files, process them in a queue and download results individually or together in a ZIP.
Why can the first conversion take longer?+
The browser prepares the audio engine the first time. Later conversions in the same session usually start faster.
Does converting improve audio quality?+
No. Conversion changes format, compatibility or size, but it cannot recover audio information that was already lost in the original file.
Does it work on mobile?+
Yes, in modern browsers. Performance depends on available memory, file size and device capabilities.
Which formats does Convertere Fabrica support?+
We currently work with common formats such as MP3, WAV, FLAC, AAC, M4A, OGG, OPUS and AIFF, plus several video sources with audio tracks.
What is the maximum file size?+
The current interface accepts files up to 250 MB. On devices with limited memory, large files may take longer or fail to complete.
Why can a converted file be larger?+
File size depends on the output format, bitrate, sample rate and source characteristics. Converting from a highly compressed format to a less compressed one can increase size without increasing real quality.
Does Convertere Fabrica store my conversions?+
We do not store media files processed by the local conversion engine. If accounts or history are added later, those features will have their own privacy explanation.
Can I use Convertere Fabrica with copyrighted files?+
Only process files you have the right to use. The tool does not grant permission to use third-party works, recordings or other content.
